With Mail for Exchange, fast accessing to your email anywhere, anytime; opening attachments on your handset is as simple as doing it on your PC! You can also synchronize your contacts, tasks and calendar to easily manage your work day and make the best of every precious minute!

Synchronization:
Note that you should not use any other method to sync email, contacts or calendar entries (such as Nokia PC Suite) after installing and using Mail for Exchange on your phone.

It may cause data loss, duplication or corruption.

Settings:
It is recommended that you determine the content of the settings information prior to download and installation.

The Mail for Exchange client setup requires the following items:

1.) The Microsoft Exchange server’s fully qualified domain name or IP address. You can get this information from your IT/ IM administrator. NOTE – The Exchange server must be accessible from the Internet.

2.) The Microsoft Exchange server’s domain or your email domain. This may be the same domain which you use to log into your corporate network.

3.) Your Microsoft Exchange Username and Password as provided by your IT/IM administrator.

4.) A working Internet Access Point (IAP) on your mobile device with no Proxy data provided. This IAP can be tested using your mobile device’s Internet browser. NOTE – The IAP may be the same one used for browsing provided that no Proxy data is configured in the IAP advanced setup screen.

For users whose mobile e-mail services are provided by their mobile operator/carrier, contact your mobile carrier for the items/information above.
